Power Swabs Teeth Whitening Reviews

What Is Power Swabs

For those of you who are not familiar it is a teeth whitening kit that’s supposed to whiten your teeth up to 6 shades in 7 days. This product was first introduced in 2008 and has been featured in numerous media outlets such as TV, Magazines and Online. With that being said, as your probably already know, none of that means anything since you can pay your way through most media outlets. Below in this review I will be providing the hardcore truth about this product and I will also provide proof that back up these claims. I will also show screen captures of other Power Swabs teeth whitening reviews from other people who've used the product. I will show both the positive and negative aspects of this product as well as reviews from customers who’ve purchased and used the product.

Pros

Non Traditional Way of Whitening

One of the benefits of this whitening kit is the fact it’s not your ordinary whitening kit. With traditional whitening kits you have to use mouth trays, whitening gels etc… You are dealing with Q-tip Swabs which contains their whitening formula and you simply follow the instructions and apply. This makes whitening on the GO simple.

Now unfortunately that’s the about were the Pros stop when it comes to this product, the majority of the article is going to be under the Cons section because it seems that this product has quite a few.

Cons

No Hydrogen Peroxide

Now this is super important when it comes to teeth whitening, for those of you who don’t know why I’ll break it down why. All dentist use hydrogen peroxide when it comes to cosmetic teeth whitening PERIOD! There are no other whitening agents that have proven to be more effective than hydrogen peroxide and this is why dentist use it. Now when searching on the company website they do not acknowledge what the active whitening agent in their kit is, they simply state that it contains a “special blend of proprietary detergents”. Again, dentist use hydrogen peroxide when whitening your teeth so using anything else besides this will most likely lead to inferior results and disappointment (as will be apparent below).

Price & Shady Billing Practices

The price is the most important thing when it comes to purchasing a whitening kit. This kit is reasonably priced in the sense that what they charge for their standard kit is what you’d find for most whitening kits. The problem is, the majority of the people who purchased this product claim that this company utilizes an auto bill tactic. Basically, once they get your credit card on file you’ll be billed every X amount of months and will be automatically shipped a new shipment of product without prior consent. The company that owns Power Swabs is called STAIN AWAY LLC. You can read the customer complaints on the Better Business Bureau website, BBB Website. Speaking of complaints….

Numerous Complaints on Various Websites

For those of you who are wondering “does Power Swabs works”, I’ll let you be the judge:

As you can see from the screen capture above, the majority of people who have used these swabs do not seem to be very satisfied. It mainly comes down to the fact that they are not seeing results and like I outlined earlier there is a simple reason for this, this product either does not contain hydrogen peroxide or it simply contains a very little amount of it. This is why it’s no surprise why people are complaining about not seeing results or barely seeing results.

So to wrap things up, it’s safe to say that it’s more than likely that if you purchase this kit your probably are not going to get any results and if you do, it most likely won’t be satisfactory due to the reasons explained above. Also, no mater which whitening product you choose, make sure that you have regular Dentist visits or Endodontist to make sure your teeth are healthy and do not have any cavitys.
